Habilitation
In 2024, a total of 45 people habilitated at the University of Vienna, including 18 women (in 2023, there were 25 habilitations, including ten women). The highest number of habilitations were obtained by women in philological and cultural studies, followed by life sciences.
Commission members as well as reviewers were almost equally diveded between men and women, whereas women accounted for 40 % of the commission chairs.
