Cluster law, economics & social sciences

In law, economics, and social sciences, women account for just under two-thirds of MA/diploma graduates, while the proportion of female professors climbs to 42% by 2025. The three academic fields differ greatly from one another: while social sciences continue to be the faculty with the highest proportion of female professors at the University of Vienna in 2025, law and, especially, economics show a clear leaky pipeline.
